poem for prompt come, joy, deep
This, I beg...
Come, deep
joy.

My body surrendered just now,
night relented its grip.
Maker, attendants,
Call me forth, thrice --
silence joined.
Deep joy
come.

Daylight's glare pains not mine eyes,
Feet no longer play.
All ceased this night,
Here at peace.
Joy, come
deep.
