A girl who commits suicide, because everyone bullies her
Molly
I once knew a girl,
She had long blonde hair, which she liked to twirl.
She never smiled, and was usually shy.
And I wish I had at least once said, “Hi”

She sat all alone at lunch for a while.
Her hair and old clothes were long out of style.
All the girls laughed and stared her way.
They giggled and whispered, with nothing good to say.

Though not many knew it, Molly was her name.
Her life day to day remained mostly the same.
She woke up brushed her teeth, and headed off to school,
Went to classes, walked the halls, and cried when ones were cruel.

Molly had goals. Molly had dreams
But each one was crushed by greedy teens.
All she asked for was a true friend.
But everyone that said they were, was all just for pretend.

Her mother despised her; her father beat her.
How her life had gotten this bad, she was not sure.
Cursing is all little brother Johnny knew how to do.
Older brother Sam she never really knew.

A gun lay loaded down the hall.
One pull of the trigger and that would end it all.
She crept out from her room, and saw its place.
She glanced around before grabbing it, just in case.

Running, she escaped back to her quiet room.
And before anyone could stop her, she pulled the trigger. BOOM!
And with a loud thud she fell to the floor.
Her once precious life was now no more.

And it took until dawn,
For anyone to realize Molly was actually gone.
Her absents at school were actually quite rare,
So everyone noticed that Molly was no longer there.

She died was simply all the teachers told us
The guilt I was feeling felt oh so endless.
So many questions I wish she could answer.
Why did I not feel this guilt until the morning after.

I once knew a girl,
Her long blonde hair she liked to twirl.
She never smiled, and was usually shy.
I now know her name was Molly…
