If tragedy beyond young years
came to a friend
I wish, for all, it would be
as beautiful as Moments says

Four chord cadence
And within one Guitar measure
It's as if the four, and one, were
Thrown into conversation

One is the steady
dear friend
In response
to your late night call

A voice of such power --
All its best quality
is taken to near whisper --
To vibrate Life's web

I dream all men would stand
together and feel all the wanna's
this small song
expresses:

"My Love" "My heart"
"without you"

Hearing words like, "want"
from the blended heart
and soul of young men;
It becomes soldier cadence

Inspiring pride and unity
Yet throws us a curve --
Hard to imagine such deep
sorrow, could cause song

A swath of caramel hair strands
Veil softly shut blue eyes
under charcoal lashes
casting shadows of doubt

Next, that Irish dart hits
His tentative notes form a hymn
at w'ou't you.
e'vn tho' I try...

And then, man among men,
his tenor pitch makes
a sweet slight crack
at makes this hard-er

Lastly, a lion's roar,
and all young sweet ears
see beauty in emotion
powerfully performed
