Early Morning Light (sunrise)

Early morning light
The sun isn't too bright
I have been awake all night
Waiting for the early morning light

Multi-coloured skies
It is pretty as a picture, in my eyes
I don't know why people despise
the different hues of colour in the morning skies

Blue, purple, yellow and pink; colours as far as the eye can see
The sight brings me the feeling of a sailor sailing out to sea
I watch this beautiful display while I drink my morning tea
And while the birds continue building nests in the trees

I know this view won't be here for long
All I have to do is look and know I belong
It brings about the feeling I get when I finish listening to my favorite song.
