From fiction to fantasy: how to write good messages in a book without feeling preachy

About Elise Pehrson:
Elise Pehrson is an award-winning poet and storywriter. She has loved writing for as long as she can remember and finished writing her first novel at the age of eleven. She specializes in fantasy and science-fiction writing as well as magical realism. She is currently getting a B.A. degree in Marriage and Family Studies and English through Brigham Young University-Idaho. Has been writing since the elementary school level, where high school-level test scores in English were achieved. She won her first poetry contest at the age of seven and finished her first novel at the age of eleven. She graduated high school at the age of seventeen after taking honors English and advanced creative writing classes. Has one book of poetry self-published through Amazon and other websites (such as Smashwords.com), and a self-published novel entitled “Forever Fair.” Edits work online through Write.com/Amazon.com and odesk.com.She is a recommended editor for the “Create a Wow Book” mentoring program and also edits and formats books and articles for companies and indie authors. She has two more books coming out this year, entitled "The Angelnots" and "Before it All."
