Just a little bit of writing.
There was once a flower.
Who blossomed in the sun.
Who died and was reborn again through the passing seasons.
Who saw the power of life and rebirth more then any living organism on earth.

There was once a baby boy.
Who upon coming into this world,
saw nothing but a bright light,
a doctors hands,
and a mothers smile.
There was once a young boy.
Filled with an endless energy, and a strength held by hope.
Who saw everyone grow up.
Who saw everyone grow old.
Who saw everyone change.
There was once a young boy who wanted to stop time.
Who wanted to keep life in his little arms and never let it leave.
There was once a young boy who cried because he could not change the world.
It was him who had been changing all along.

There was once a man.
Who now understood the changes of life as well as he understood the changes of each passing season.
Who now understood that life is an unstoppable force that could never be changed.
That should never be changed.
It is we who must change.
There was once a man, who knew life well.
Like a friend, like a lover, like a foe.
A man who still sometimes cried because time still slipped by.
Who saw people leave.
Who saw what the years had done to the ones he loved .
Who saw every single person become.
Who remembered every single conversation.
Who remembered every single smile.
Who remembered all the good things that had happened.
And was now waiting for all the good things that were to come.

And like that flower, this man was meant to die.
And just like that flower he had changed from year to year.

And just like that innocent little flower, he also was meant to live.
