Bad Day

You know it is a bad day when…
You forgot to set your alarm last night
         So you wake up late.
You are pressed for time,
         Causing you to have to skip your shower.
You look for an outfit
          Only to find everything is wrinkled.
You go to fix your hair
         But can’t find your brush.
You make breakfast
         And burn your toast.
You make a cup of coffee,
         Just to realize you’re all out of milk.
You can’t find your keys for 10 minutes
         Finally find them in your pocket.
You start your car
          With only 40 miles left.
You hit a pothole on the road,
          Spilling your coffee on your white shirt.
You get to work,
         The doors are locked.
You check your phone for the time
         And see it’s Saturday.
