Empty

A soul searching,
for a better life,
not to be found.

A heart breaks,
into a million little pieces,
and slowly drifts in the wind.

Emotions fade,
you start to feel empty,
no sadness, no pain, just nothing.

A mind glazes over,
thoughts take control,
but they will all lead to hurt.

Eyes lose their sparkle,
now they just stare,
showing the nothing inside.

Dreams turn to nightmares,
that never seem to end,
caught forever in the nightmare called life.
