rough black hair and slender wrists
pale face, had this young girl
deep dark thoughts of lunatics
hid deep beneath her curls

voices speaking, threatening
of enemies and friends
voices speaking only to her
they'd haunt her till the end

her life starts out the usual way
with family, friends school
it's not her life, it is her brain
where danger starts to rule

fantasies, her mind explodes
with false identities
secret people, to her so real
yet not true entities

they overtake her once strong brain
its them that she dwells on
the line between real and false
slowly fades then its gone

real life is now a waste of time
false voices rule her world
real people she now loves no more
the madness is unfurled

but to this she is oblivious
to her it is all true
will she be rescued from this hell
