Tech State

Guns never developed. Wars are fought with sword, shield, bow, and ballistae. Catapaults are left for sieges. Some tech is still not really used. Very little is known about he actual world itself. Legend, myth, and tale still rule the land. Weapons and shields have an energy field that makes them more lethal or protective, respectfully. Only certain officers (usually capt and above) get energy hand weapons. Hard to make with capability to maintain energy field. Shields have room, ballistics don’t need it for long. Armor has no room for such a power source as to do the same to the armor.


Name

Origins of the name Argor are unknown. Globally accepted, even the Easterners call the world Argor. Believed to originate from an ancient society, possibly the one that lays in the ruins in the desert.
