Joe With The I

It was early in the day when Joe started walking to school. In his mind were thoughts of making a good impression. After all, it was the first day of class. Being lucky enough to have been awarded an academic scholarship in a school he only dreamed of attending, there he was at the gate standing still not knowing what to do. Then someone came along and asked... "Hi, do you know how to get to the Wozniak Building?"

"Ow, hello. Uhm..." He was tongue-tied at the site of Joie. She was the typical campus hottie that every guy wanted to be with.

"I am Joie, by the way. And you are?" She asked Joe.

"Joe." He replied.

"You are a man of few words." Joie smiled. "So, about the what I was asking..."

"I have my first class there. Would you like to walk together?" Joe asked.

"Sure!" She replied.

The two started chatting while walking, not caring that everyone was staring at them. Upon reaching the building...

"Here we are. I have to go to room 66." Joe said.

"Wow! This is great! I know someone from my class already." Joie answered.

They went and sat at the back. People started coming in, everyone knew each other.

"Hi, I am Ken. I saw you two walking and I had to ask... Is he your boyfriend?" Ken was the "it" guy in the school. The jock who dated every girl he liked. And it seems he wanted Joie.
