A poem for the writer's cramp 2/20 about an amazing invention that will change the world. |
-What Is It?- by Keaton Foster Writer’s Cramp Entry 2/20/2013 Gather around Upper echelon Superior to the inferior You are here because You have the cash To back up my invention Or as I have come to call it My diabolical misdirection See it here An apparatus unclear It is shiny, not dull It is important, not useless Trust me when I say That everyone will want it And that everyone will need it They will scream, give it to me Any unreasonable amount is yours Through the teeth they will indeed pay But what they are buying Will certainly never last because it has Built in redundancy upon redundancy They will be back time and again Forever and ever my friends It will change the world If not theirs then certainly yours You can get in on the ground floor A sizable investment is all that is required The largest sum possible and then some Sign right here on the dotted line Here use my pen Because it writes in blood Yours, not mine of course And before you ask Before you inquire What is it? I will only offer you this reply Does the answer really matter Even in the slightest… What Is it?
