She wants to get engaged and he wants to go camping
I wanted the band, so what if I did?
He’s so funny and hot, all cute button smiles.
And I want that promise ring, let’s face it, I’d go miles.
Even willing to break the rules and ask him myself.
Maybe over a movie and some mouth-watering prime rib,
That is if I can make one I’ve got zero cooking skills.

So how did I end up out in the woods?
Sleeping with bears like no woman should?
His begging, atrocious puppy pouts,
And bulging muscles, that’s how.

Maybe I could ask him here,
Using something poetic from shake sphere?
I thought that would work, until he managed to put a spear through his ear.
Don’t ask me how, I never may know,
But either way it was bleeding, falling like snow.

Speaking of which, during the night,
Mr. Jack Frost sprayed us with white.
Teeth clattering and blue,
I laid there wondering if instead of marriage, he could possibly be sued.

The next morning I woke, ice in my bones,
On top of some sharp piercing stones.

I wobbled up, my muscles groaning and hissing.
And I noticed my wonderful pocket of warmth had gone missing.
I sighed; I was planning to start him off with some kissing,
Then ask him to be the man I’m currently missing.

As I try to pry open the soggy tent top,
My heart beat and breath suddenly stop.
There’s some cramming and clashing as my eyes rush to tell,
My brain what I’m seeing and, ‘Oh my god! What the hell!?!”

Delicate petals are placed on the grass,
Birds tweet and sing-song as they pass.
The air is braided so silky and smooth,
Falling into my mouth designed to soothe.
This all leads up to a candle-light throne,
And the only man I’ve ever needed to know.

He’s a beautiful nervous smile as I float his way handing me a white lily bouquet.
Tears sewn of pure joy threaten to trace down my cheek,
As he lowers himself to the ground I go weak.
He must have gone crazy to have to ask,
But either way I whisper an unbelieving breathless yes.
