To Everyone Who Hath An Ear

Let it now be very clear!

That tis the season to celebrate
Christ coming to set us free!

He came not to bring us Santa Claus
He had a higher and more noble cause!

He came not to decorate a tree
He came to save both you and me!

He came not to bring us a ball or toy
But to bring us much peace, love and joy!

He came not to star in a Christmas play
But he came to show us a brand new way!

A way of hope, a way of life
A way that promises freedom from strife
A way that is lit as bright as the sun
A way to have love for  everyone!

This Christmas season can be your best
If you pour yourself into helping those with less.
Help the lonely, help the poor,
Help the battered wife next door.
Help those who can't help themselves
Put some food on someone's shelves.

In this you'll fulfill what Jesus taught
That love is free and can't be bought!

If you want to know where you should start
Look in the mirror and examine your heart!
Pray and ask the truth be known,
And God will make his mysteries known!

Last but not least, once your way is clear,

Now have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
