What Happened?

What happened to the boy in the picture by my window?
What happened to the boy  i used to know?
His laughs have passed and his smiles have gone,
The good times have vanished and the pain has come,
He has been overcome by insecurity.

Now the walls are closing in and time is counting down,
For him to make a change,
For him to make a change and be happy.

Life is flashing before my eyes,
'I am okay' is my least convincing lie,
I take all of my feelings and keep them bottled up inside,
Waiting for the moment when i am not afraid to hide,
And i hope that one day i will be strong enough to smile,
And i hope that one day is coming soon cause i've been waiting a while.

What happened to the boy who never used to care?
What happened to the boy who used to be right there?
He sits alone playing sad songs all day,
Waiting for the moment when his pain will go away,
Cause he can't find any reason to be alive.
