A way out there poem about the space between life and death and what we do with it. |
-Silence Nowhere- by Keaton Foster Shush Out there Silence nowhere Do you hear it Listen with intent Hear each void Every empty space Know what it means Understand how it screams Dare not be afraid Fear, such a childish game Enslaving those who play Binding them to an ideal And an unrealistic plea Forgiveness Their greatest concern Such a thing is to be given By who is subject to belief Belief, a backwards stream Against itself it flows They are always doing what they can Always doing what they wish One hand washes the other One soul damages another I won’t play, abundantly I refuse Those profound with clarity And mired in causality Know that there is more And at the same time That there is absolutely nothing Just an ever-expanding wilderness Of unobscured blackness A place that they can go A shape that they can call home Shush Out there Silence nowhere Do you hear it Listen with intent Hear each void Each empty space Fill them with screams Or usher in your belief To nothing it matters none You will not be judged You will not be crucified You will be accepted You will be given access Unparalleled interaction Create within the space And if need be Destroy all that you hate Nothing is bound by itself And absolutely nothing else You are bound only by interpretation Perception is the only god of such a paradox Build the world up with your imagination Then lay it to waste through change Play your own intoxicating game Be the master of the rules Because it allows you alone to choose And one thing I know beyond all else Is that life is all about choice And the resulting actions and or inactions With regard to the spaces between… Silence Nowhere Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012. |
