Savanna was just seventeen and at the rise of her love life with her boyfriend Chad. He planned on having a great night with a movie and a warm dinner. Savanna was nervous with trying to make everyone happy; she had to be their shinning star. As it turned to night Chad picked her up and brought her back to his house. They sit on the cool leather sofa while the movie started, he got up a few times to check on the lasagna. Savanna was thinking of a way to not hurt Chad feelings, but she had let this charade go on enough. She decided just to watch the movie and have a nice dinner and worry about it later. In the climax of the movie Chad made a move to try to kiss her, but she pulled away giving him an awkward look with the rolling of her eyes. After the movie he took her home to her magnificent house. He lingered for a kiss but did not get one, she walked swiftly to the door and slammed it open knowing mom and dad were off. She ran up stairs to tell me about her night. She knocked a few times a just walked in with tears running down her face, I said, “what’s wrong, did he break up with you?” She says to me “I wish he would have.” I said, “Well sit down, what’s wrong?” She sat down and said, “I’m tired of being what others wanted and that I didn’t want be with Chad, I wanted to be with Amanda.” I didn’t see that coming.
