what i see when i look at my baby sister
Her smile tells me its okay,
but when she turns away I watch her smile fade.
Noone knows what she's hiding, the mask she wears is blinding.
I long for her to confine in me, to be unafraid to let me see.
What is it that she fears? When did she last release her tears?
She always seemed so happy, when did this crease to be?
How do i bring forth those days, where we spend all day in play?
And now she gets high on a false joy, usually finding it in some boy.
But this is short lived, before her pain is revealed.
Only with time will she be healed.
Untill then I'll stand by her side,
and for now let her keep her pride...
