A liar of all men
A wolf within thin skin
I would still defend
Stand up tall
Fight for all belief
Give em all hell
Dismantle their everything
At the price of my something
Words are my weapon
My loaded gun to be pointed
Efficiently I take aim
With ease and comfort I squeeze
The bang does no scare me
The mess does matters none
A point must always be made
Someone must die
So that so many others can live
I know better than most
That there is good and bad
In all monsters of men
I have been on both the giving
And the receiving end of what
People are truly capable of
I would still defend
All that I am sure I can
I would fight no matter the price
Devoid of concern over the true cost
I am no longer afraid
There is a place in all human existence
When fear holds no precedence
And I can assure you that I am
Indeed way beyond such a place
I am no longer broken
Because I have never been fixed
I am in a place between
A place where survival is king
A place where doing what I can
Trumps doing all that I should
I would still defend
No matter what happens
Regardless of any and all price
Such a stagnant system of belief
Is all that I am sure I can count on
I am confident that no one should
Blame me for who I’ve become
They should understand that I
A man who has been through hell
Is just doing what he can
What he is sure that he must
And that when I say that
I would still defend
They will understand that waging
Such a defense has become
The true point to my cause…
