Have you ever felt being lost in a wilderness and found nobody to hold on?
Stream In The Desert

It seems like trudging in a fervid trail
My sinews are exhausted, my tendons are frail.
My feet are painful- bruised and bare
No way to go; I'm trapped in this endless snare.

In this grieving land where golden grains are spread,
The sultry winds are like ruffled strands of thread,
Heaving extremely the sand from their slumbering bed.
To die amidst, is my greatest dread.

These loads that my temple is struggling to carry
Are too much that they make my shoulders weary.
I am ceaselessly beaten by the sun's scorching heat
And being burnt in this raging embers down my feet.

Down this forlorn field, I wander
To where unknown, my soul meanders
To quench my thirst, I found none
I forego to survive; my hope has gone.

Then I realized and called upon His Name
With fervent love, He heard this lame.
He come and grace this field with a stream
I drink and fill myself, and bask in His dashing gleam.

Stream in the Desert, Rewritten:

Beneath a relentless sun, the desert burns,
A furnace wind whispers through parched ferns.
My feet, cracked mirrors reflecting skies of haze,
Trudge a path etched by thirst and weary craze.

Golden waves of sand, unyielding, vast,
Mock the hope for solace, a respite at last.
My shoulders groan, their burden ever-more,
Each breath a gasp for the water I implore.

But in this crucible, where despair takes hold,
A seed of faith, though withered, still unfolds.
I whisper a prayer, a plea whispered low,
A fragile ember refusing to let go.

And then, a miracle, a shimmering surprise,
A ribbon of silver born before my eyes.
A stream, a whisper of grace in the arid land,
Offered by a hand unseen, yet close at hand.

Its cool caress washes over sun-scorched skin,
Reviving strength where embers dimmed within.
I drink deep, soul and body reborn anew,
Hope's flame rekindled, bathed in heaven's hue.

Through the desert now, my journey leads on,
Faith my compass, the sun's heat no longer a pawn.
For in the wasteland, where shadows once held sway,
The light of faith shines brighter, guiding the way.
