There are few things in life that matter to me...What happens when the biggest is...Gone?
Gone is my treasure, the very root of my joy,

Growing more and more plentiful by the day,

Crudely tugged out of the ground before its time,

Gone like the trees in a once bountiful forest.

Gone is my happiness,

Here one second, and nowhere to be seen the next,

Cruelly carried away like words on a breeze,

Gone before the words were given the chance to ring true.

Gone is my chance,

The one and only that I have been awaiting so long,

Eagerly anticipating it, like a child on Christmas,

Only to discover even the Angel on top of the tree, gone.

Gone is my hope,

Here, then extinguished before I knew what happened,

Quickly taken away from the candle of my life.

In a single moment, the light of my world is gone.

Gone is my love,

Struggled and waited for so long, leaving nothing but pain,

Endlessly crashing over me as I think of what I have lost,

My Angel, my treasure, my happiness, my hope, my chance....Gone.

She is gone, just as I am now gone,

Fled from the reach of all others, just as she is fled from my life...
