I heard "Like A Baker That Hates Cake But Always Bakes It" in a parody of an Eminem song.
Baking Cakes:
Sometimes I feel like a baker that hates cake, but always bakes it.
I feel obligated to keep pursuing this, despite the fact that it's messing with my head, & deteriorating my self-esteem.
My cakes are supposedly delicious, but your tastebuds are always dry.
You'd rather eat their cakes, though mine are more flavorful.
The inside is the best part, but you refuse to take a bite, so you'll never know.
I hate baking these cakes for you. I hate cake.
I used to have such a sweet tooth.
I'd bake my cake and eat it too.
It was so delicious, so scrumptious. I could never get enough.
The taste was phenomenal, and I never wanted to quit eating it.
Now, my cake just taste bitter.
I guess you can't really have your cake and eat it too.
It reminds me of the sorrow, the somber and the sadness you pushed me through.
It reminds me of the lies, the potential which you refuse to see.
It reminds me that all these other people's cakes, will be better than me.
I used to love what I do, but I'm growing to hate it.
I'm so frustrated with you and I just can't take it.
I know I'll keep baking these cakes, hoping you'll eat them.
However, I'll be surprised if you ever take one bite, or even a nibble.
Go on, eat their cake! I don't care.
You don't know what you're missing!
I hope you choke on it!
Someday the world will taste my true potential.
You'll be sorry you missed out.
