18+ someone sent me an email saying a classic saying the wrong way, which inspired me. |
-Bleeding Horse- by Keaton Foster Someone close to me this week after reading one of my poems said, That I need to get off my bleeding horse. Of course they meant to say high horse, but the mistake seemed to fit much better. This poem is for them. Such words So absurd Get off your bleeding horse Step down from your hell Give it, and us a rest Take a second and smell the roses Not the shit you seem to claim Is up to your neck We’ve all had ups and downs We’ve all felt as if we have Been kicked right in the teeth That’s what life is all about Many downs and a hand full of ups A bunch of wrongs and a few rights The true darkness of every night Easily covers up the brightest of day Blah, blah, blah, ect , ect, ect We all get the ridiculous point Learn to deal with it just like the rest Get off your bleeding horse That pony don’t ride This overabundance of words You seem so eager to express Is nothing more than minutia Nauseating nonsense that as usual Is going absolutely nowhere quick You tell the same tale each time Woe is me, looky here, and see I was abused, I was tortured No one loves me, most of all me We get it, we understand Your life, the one your write about Without a doubt sucks hairy balls So what, get in line, it forms to the right Life blows period, you are nothing special And if you think you are Then you/me are nothing more Than an over energized whiner That needs to suck it up and drive on Get off that damn bleeding horse Set it out to pasture so that it can die From its death you will be reborn Made anew, such creativeness does not Have to always been mired in so much gloom Instead of that bleeding horse Find a bull and grab it by the horns Ride it all around your town Dragging its balls on the ground If people stop and look Say to each one of them WTF are you looking at meat gazer If they reply with additional smack Get off that bull and kick their pasty white asses If not, ride away into the sunset Screaming, peace out biatches… Bleeding Horse Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012. |
