A classic love triangle
Maybe it's too soon to tell
But I wonder if maybe it's true
That maybe you
Are in love with past condolences
Instead of presently fallen bells
Bells that ring in silent tears
But wait for the rainbow's shine
On the day that you're mine
To give way to love's binding spells
That banish all of my fears
And maybe if the past were different
Those bells would never ring
No tears that sing
So silently with falling grace
That carried the lovers spent
But then the bells would be still
And never would they sing at all
For they'd never fall
In love with any pretenses
Alive or ghosted at will
I guess the bells will be silent still
