Commitment and faith, only weapons required for the battle with injustice...
I can’t take these thousand stones hurled at me

Beyond this path of thorns and accusations, I wish you could see

But it’s a horrible façade you seem so eager to believe in

Walking over the lake of deception with ice so thin

All you see is a reflection, my blurred iridescence

Colors of which are knitted by your baseless fears and vigilance

Colors that ignite an inexorable fire at the back of your head

And towards every single branch of my sanity, insidiously it spreads

A slow relentless burning in the hollow of my entity

That unforgettable betrayal, you failed to see

In the storm, you forget to care about my heart, hanging in impasse

Or the frustration that bubbles inside of me, unable to resurface

I wish you were strong enough to salvage some respect I had for you

These lies and illusions, you can’t differentiate from the truth.
