An abstract poem about change via ideas expressed in a vivid sense, at the sea

At my feet
Waves bleed
Crashing
Smashing
They scream
Wash away
Wipe clean
All your pain freed
Darkness betrayed
Never again will you
Suffer as you do
At the sea
Standing
Less of a man
More of a mess
Waiting to be
Further cleaned
Seeking more relief
From all that has been
Whispering confessions
Is this as much
Is this enough
So bad for me
So bad for us
To the depths
My words do flow
Across the endless miles
They leave
Spirited pieces of me
Their agenda hidden
Truth bled for you
Strangers not known
All alone again
Under the sun
No God above
Immersed in blue
Endless and true
I know this is real
I cannot risk any less
There must be
A way to relent
A way to forget
To be completely free
Life and death
Such archaic terms
Each day they mean less
Existence should not be bound
By such finite terms
Both internally and externally
Our ideas should "be"
The world should know
Long after we don't
I am just one man
But dammit I was here
Living as I should
Fighting for good
Even if evil was never to win
Even if this was all some
Twisted experiment
That none of us were
Enlisted to take part in
Fighting is what we must do
Acceptance is no king
Reality is the only heir to the throne
And we, you and me
Are nothing but skin and bones
Mortal abodes cast from stone
Made cold by our ways
And the mistakes of those in control
At the sea
I stand
Even cleaner I seem
Free as can be
A limited sense of relief
What shall it mean
Deeper still I must go
The answer is not as clear
I wish it were so
But unlike most
Beyond these shores
I am and always will be
Prepared to go…
