Will we make it?
Maybe it's a hardness in my heart fueling a coldness in my bones,
But I'm afraid of what this inclination means.
And I can see a future where we both end up alone;
But I'm hoping that it doesn't have to be.

Can you tell me all the reasons for the selfish things we do?
Can you help me see the color in the sky?
Because I'm not holding on and I wonder if I could,
Would I even have the will power to try?

I don't know who to turn to and I don't know what to say,
But I don't want this love to pass me by.
And I'll be on my knees everyday to pray,
In hopes to keep a dying love alive.
