Like the title said the story of doctor Blackwood at Cunningham manor |
So there I was standing again looking at the manor while the rain was pouring down and thunder struck. My felt tip hat was getting soaked and my coat wasn’t going to last long either in this rain, I started walking through wards the castle with a steady pace. My cane was ticking against the pebbles and my vision was getting blurry because the rain was pouring on my glasses….. THEY ARE COMING BACK I DON’T KNOW WHY! Finally I reached the giant door of the manor and knocked on the gigantic door. It took a while till the door was finally opened and by then my coat was soaked as well. The man who opened the door was wearing a robe with blue stripped pajamas. ‘Good evening’ I said ‘mister….’ ‘Lord’ he corrected me ‘Lord Cunningham’….. THERE IS ONLY ONE LORD! ‘Ah well good evening Lord Cunningham, I’m Doctor Blackwood’ I replied ‘you called me earlier this evening.’ Lord Cunningham confirmed this and let me into his house ‘my wife speaks very highly of you Doctor; personally I’m not fond of doctors.’ He said with a grim look. I asked him why he disliked doctors but he seemed reluctant to answer, so I asked him why he called me here on this stormy night. ‘My wife is very ill doctor and so is my son would you mind taking a look at them’ he said with a worried look. I replied that I did this sort of thing for a living and he brought me to the room of his son. The boy was having a minor flu and I told Lord Cunningham to keep him in bed for the rest of the week. I figured his wife had the same disease so when I entered her room I almost fainted. In the bed there was a decaying corpse, Lord Cunningham who followed me was shocked by the sight of this and he did fainted…… COWARDS DIE FIRST! When I brought him to his senses he ensured me that this was not the state of his wife when he last saw her and by the shocked look on his face I believed him. After a closer examination of the body I figured that Lady Cunningham had been dead for 6 months, which left Lord Cunningham speechless as he told me she was alive and kicking this very morning she even chatted with her son. After verifying this odd tale (because I didn’t believe it) at his son who confirmed this I started to wonder how it could have happened. Also the staff told me that Lady Cunningham was alive the last time they saw her, which was around tea time….. SUFFER, BURN, DIE! This was curious and the mood was getting grimmer and grimmer, I couldn’t see an explanation for this odd phenomenon….. DARKNESS WILL PREVAIL OVER LIGHT! It occurred to me that I spoke Lady Cunningham not 2 months ago and the body in that room was dead for 6 months. But it was Lady Cunningham! I was sure of that. So I started to think of an explanation and began to search the Manor. I started upstairs but the only thing I found was old furniture covered in white sheets so I decided to take go a bit further downstairs, to the basement. When I got there, there was nothing besides a door. A very old door and when I checked if it was open I was surprised that it was open. As I walked through the door I noticed that it led to a long and dark corridor, at the end of the hall and I started to walk though wards the end of the corridor….MUSN’T SLEEP, CANOT SLEEP! As I walked further into the corridor I saw a door with a red glowing light shining out of it. I heard a deep growl coming from behind the door and as I came closer the growling became louder. Then I finally stood in front of the door and opened the door, the growling didn’t scared me… sadly enough. Because if it did I still might have been sane, because when I opened the door I saw what only can be described as a demon!.... BEELZEBOB, BEELZEBOB ALL HAIL SATAN! It was not of this world I am sure of that…..HE IS IN MY HEAD! When I woke up I was here St. Johns mental hospital I still don’t know what I’m doing here, but the previous patient in my room must been very ill he has drawn pentagrams and weird symbols. One of the orderlies told me I did it but he’s a joker I couldn’t have drawn that. Tomorrow I will ask the doctor to release me…MUST KILL MUST KILL FOR HIM! |
