friendship and love
Thank You

Bombs explode as fires go off everywhere
They burn up the things we most hold dear
Open your remembrance to what’s still here
Eyes wetten your dying, you can’t hold back a tear

I know sometimes I act like a jerk
I get up upset that we didn’t work

When you broke me I wasn’t mad
I wasn’t the least bit furious
At you removing what we had
Hurting me wounds your self-consrous

We’re still friends and that’s all that matters
It shows me the light as things get better

Life’s full of disappointments
When you hold so much hope on one
Something you baked so much excitement
Knocks you down with happiness gone

I’m overwhelmed you’re such a true friend
That happiness carries me from the end

I seem as prickly as a cactus probably
I have to leave the room sometimes to cry
I’m sorry I haven’t begun healing easily
I’m sorry but I’m hiding it and I’ll continue to try

What I mean to say
Is I’m thankful anyway

You never try to take me and destroy
You’re so good to me
Knowing you brings so much glory
Still how lucky can I be

Thanks for the friendship
Even if your hands never hold my hips

You catch me up when I’m about to fall
Living in the world is a kind hearted fellow
Who picks up my sorrow and makes gladness all
I can’t explain how niceness you grow

Can you see my shining eyes
They sparkle at what still lies

You are never scalding me for my best

Thank you
You’re friendships true
Your heart’s big and puts sad thoughts to rest
