I would like to walk under a dark sky.

You should know,
Until recently I have thought the Milky Way was a myth. Not the galaxy, but the view of the spiral arm from the surface of the Earth. I thought it was extraneously extravagant embellishment made by the producers of fictional media, because I have always known the night sky to be a smattering of a hundred or so flickering lights.

Maybe someone in a city would have realised that there had to be some stars and taken the pictures provided for granted.
Maybe someone less sceptical would have taken the pictures provided for granted.
But maybe I would have accepted the pictures if I had seen it for myself.

I am one, but am I my own?
I do not think I am.

I also do not look up as often as I might.
