chelsea and who should replace avb?

following the expected sacking of andre villas boas here i look at the list of possible futire managers who could take over at chelsea next season.

jose mourinho: the fan's choice and is chelsea's longest reigning manager under roman and would love to return to the bridge after a five year hiatus.
he has always wanted to win the champions league for the blues and feel's he is the man to do this.
he has already hinted he will quit real madrid in the summer and stamford bridge looks his next place of proto-col.

rafa benitez: the former liverpool manager has been out of work since leaving inter last year and is dying for a big club again.
the pro's include: he is a champions league winner and is very tactical, along with getting the best out of fernando torres at liverpool.
cons: he was hated by the chelsea fans while in charge of liverpool. has called didier drogba a "diver" in the past. got sacked from both liverpool and inter milan for lack of results.

Pep Guardiola: the current barcelona manager who has turned the spanish club into the greatest in the world.
pros: he has won the champions league three times. he has won every trophy available with barcelona. he is a young manager with young ideas.
cons: he maybe too young and too similar to avb. chelsea fans dislike barca after the infamous champions league semi final in 2009 and may not like pep coming. his only experience as manager is with barcelona.

Fabio Capello: the former england manager who quit after the fa's decision to strip john terry of the captainancy in febraury.
pros: a manager with huge experience all over the world. englands most succesfull manager ever. has won silverware at every club he has been at.
cons: his english is still very poor. has never managed in the premier league.

Guus Hiddink: the former chelsea caretaker manager and current anzi manager in russia.
pros: great friend of roman. had huge succes in last short spell at chelsea winning the fa cup. the players respect him. the media and fans love him. vast experience.
cons: may not take a long term deal. currently employed in russia.


for me the two fave's are jose mourinho and rafa benitez and here is how they match up.
