Oh! what wierd ways works this ordinary world,
here the night is long here there is no light,
seeking light where there are dark shadows,
for i believe that these shadows will one day fade,
I am a thirsty traveler who has lost his way,
Trying to find water and a place to stay,
Hither and thither I stumble on these sandy dunes,
The golden sun showering upon me its fiery fumes,
Like a wounded bird sailing thru the sky,
Flapping its wings but it could never fly,
Wonderful places now he will never see,
Burn pine and perish then he would surely be.
