The day was sad, but something was special in that night,

It was in my dreams that you held me tight.

I was scared as if something went wrong,

but soon I realized that my feelings were strong.

By that unreal moment, I was taught,

that a heart in love desires a lot.



For me every other sound is just a noise,

The desire is to begin my day, hearing your voice

When the world around you is full of beauty,

The desire is to be your only choice.



In spite of your struggle, if you lose a race,

the desire is to be the reason for the smile on your face

If ever life seems ugly to you,

the desire is to be your life's grace.

Why should we look at the people, and care about the weather,

The desire is to make you forget the world, when we are together

The land and the sky are meant for us,

The desire is to fly with you, like birds with feather.



I long to see you all May and June,

The desire is to feel with you, the first rain of monsoon

On a winter night, up on the terrace,

The desire is to hold your hand and look at the moon.
