My love is as deep as a lake,
Yet I spend many hours lying awake,
Thinking of what we could be,
The greatest of my responsibility,

To love with my heart and my mind,
To keep me without bind,
I cannot sleep I lie awake,
Staring at what the world did make,

Thinking of the life we would share,
Just knowing that you were there,
The love we would have to give,
To make it worth our lives to live,

To make a gift only we can see,
