time is eternal(yet ephemeral,
fleeting)
broken in silence
silence spared the horror
life ending,
no triumph

time is eternal(yet ephemeral,
fleeting)
shattering souls in grasp clenched,
denying hope to needy, wanting
a monster in terrible disguise.

time is eternal(yet ephemeral,
fleeting)
giving no care to pain, no gain
no longer left in peace
want to break away, fear bound
shatter me broken.
