Heartache

Jill watched in misery as Johnny walked by her, completely ignoring her. Another girl was latched at his side. She longed to be that girl again, but she didn’t let it show. She was the strong one, and she wouldn’t let her pain show through. He is, and always will be, the one she loves. Her heart hurt to see him, as if it were pushing her to give in to her feelings. She wouldn’t cave, even if this pain went on for the rest of her life. Some day, she hoped it would end. What Jill didn’t realize is that Johnny dated girl after girl to cover up his pain. He loved Jill, but he wouldn’t let it show.
