Is there any light in the darkness? |
Life’s Course Can’t you all see what I see through my eyes, The war that I face every day at a time The life that I live is nothing to miss see The hell I go through is daily routine. But even through all the pain and suffering I see every part as importance for me They foreshadow life’s trouble you see But they reveal the cold truth buried beneath. Sometimes I feel, as I’m alone on this earth Sometimes I feel, as my screams aren’t heard I guess that’s natural you see Because through every life is that great mystery When war reaches it peak And the end is no where to be seen There comes a moment of victory A time when a bright light can be seen The moment is small Before the hell starts again But to be granted those moments Is a goal to be reached. Maybe I’m the only one Who sees it that way? That life grants moments of joy To any that need its light Even though war is fought every day Moments of time are meant to be held The times in war when there is hope And for once victory can be seen These moments are the same Just seen in different ways We all hold these moments But some throw them away So through hell and through life Be guided by the minuscule light And grab hold of the moments That life granted you Life is a dark road As everyone learns To make for suffering Life gives you joy |
