The Problem

Everywhere we look this is what we see

War, famine, pestilence, and poverty

People living hungry and homeless on the street

They can't even afford shoes for their own feet

Why is the world happening this way?

Some say that God is making us pay.

But He is certainly not the one to blame

If He was, why when we go to church do we feel ashamed?

Because we are the ones breaking all his beliefs and rules

Eventually just playing ourselves for the fools.

We are the ones who steal, cheat, and lie.

We as a whole are the cause of those who die.

We make our own decisions in life

And mainly are the cause of our own strife.

All of this violence needs to come to an end

So our lives we no longer need to defend

All of this hate and anger needs to cease

We should all focus on promoting the peace

We have the ability to make this world a better place

Every negative thing we see today, we can hopefully erase

We can start over again, fresh and new

We can do anything we put our minds to

Everywhere we look this is what we should see

Love, peace, and most importantly UNITY
