Woman Behind Elizabeth Hayes

I am a 33 year old Georgia girl. I am currently living in Jonesboro, Georgia where I was born and raised. I share my home with my mom, two brothers, cousin, and pets. Boy, do I have a lot of them! Well, they are not really my pets. My brother has his dog. As for the cats? Well, mom does not know how to not feed the strays... Which means... Too many.

I lost the two most important people in my life... 14 years apart. My grandmother and grandfather. They were THE loves of my life. I am proud to have been raised by them. They did a wonderful job. I wish I could tell them that, but until then... I will just think it in my mind. If not for my grandparents, I would not be who or where I am today. Thank you Granny and Granddaddy.

I am currently studying for a career diploma in: Fitness and Nutrition. I have almost completed my Fitness and Nutrition program. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time with studying my materials. I cannot seem to get into the groove. I think it is because the textbook intimidates me. The chapters are too long. I will not quit until I am finished with this program. I have the chance to better myself. I am going to take it. I am going to do it for myself and not just to please others.

I am an affectionate person who loves to help people. Sometimes, I have a hard time saying "no." If I can make another person's day? Then, I feel as if I done my "job." It always makes me smile to see another person happy. My heart sings and my soul soars freely in the heavens. The world would be a better place if everyone would just love each other and accept their differences.

The love of my life is Rodney, and he lives in Kokomo, Indiana. Right now, we are going through a rough time. I am fighting with everything I am, to get us back on track. I made a mistake and have learned from it. I will not make the same mistake twice. I love Rodney with all my heart and soul. If I could tell him one thing right now, it would be this: I love you with all I am. I am waiting for you. You are worth fighting for AND waiting for. I WILL NOT give up on us.

I have a very special friend that has been helping me throughout the rough times in my life. Her name is Lisa ~*~Damiana Returned~*~ . If not for her, I would be an emotional wreck. She has given me the strength to hang on to hope, trust, and faith. I cannot count how many times I have called her crying about various things. Lisa has been very wonderful to me. I am so glad our paths crossed. This is one friendship I can honestly say was developed through angelic means. Thank you so much Lisa. I am glad you are in my life.

I am working on creating my own group for writers who write for children and teenagers. There are not many groups out there that fit this need of mine. What better to do than start my own group. I have not finished the process, but I am getting there.
