Graduation

The emotions swirling,
Round and Round,
The countdown,
The hair checks, the make up,
The names, over and over,
Perfection being Key,
Here we go,
The march,
Side by side,
Pair Up! Pair Up!
Meet at the center,
The song is playing,
We sit,
Speeches, Songs, tears,
Our names, the moment of deliverance,
We Cheer,
We leave,
Back Stage, We Scream,
We cry, we shout, we run,
We grab our papers,
And it's off to the Families and Friends.
Brother is First,
Thank you for all your help,
Sister Graduated right beside me.
Pictures all over the place,
Congrats all around,
We all start to leave,
I save brother and get him a ride,
It was pleasant to be so close to such a dear person,
After everyone is gone,
After all is said and done,
Here I lie, alone and happy,
The day is done but the emotions still play.
