Every time I close my eyes,
I see someone
Not too tall
Not too short
They just stand there
Looking
Staring

It’s like they are watching over me
I would like to know who it is

It’s like they know when I need them
All I need to do is close my eyes

That person standing at the end,
That person will never leave me

That person won’t cheat, lie, or swear.
That person will always be standing there

But it leaves me wondering,
Could it be the person whose fingers fit in between my own?
