Friend or foe?
I don't know.

We can't stay together,
This nonsense can't go on forever.

Sticking by you for convenience.
Or striving for your acceptance.

I think its time to listen to my feelings of doubt.

My ego starts to shrink
When you speak before you think.

Belittled by you,
Your apologies are overdue.

Should there be a confrontation
Maybe I'll wait for a better time to avoid a complication.
