From all the mistakes I’d made before you
My ceramic heart had been crushed to pieces

A month and a day went by
Not once had I not thought of you

I took a deep breath and picked up the phone
My nerves were making me shake

To the one that I had chased away

When I heard your voice, gentle and inviting
My eyes welled up with tears
My heart was whole again
It was you that helped show me who I am
