On the Path to Nowhere

Lost is a feeling of nothing,
You cannot find the way,
You don't even know what the way is,
Or if you got there what you'd say.

It's a feeling of pure confusion,
It's a feeling of desperate despair,
Where every turn you take,
Seems to lead you further nowhere.

If I could find my way again,
If I could just get some direction,
Would I choose to stay on that path,
Or again choose the path of destruction?

I'd like to learn my lesson,
I'd like to get somewhere,
But lessons are sometimes hard to learn,
And learning them hard to bare.
