I must say that I found this to be one of the most difficult assignments. I enjoy reviewing very much but, after having to look for a short story that met a certain criteria for this assignment I must admit that I do choose not to review some material because I don't enjoy it or I may not be interested in the content of the piece. I always try to look for pieces that will keep my interest. I don't judge by mistakes in the writing because I feel as though everyone should be given a chance to improve. Most of us are here because we want to become better writers. I am sure there are not many here that do not care how their writing looks or sounds. To be honest, that is the beauty of writing.com. Your writing is yours. We reviewers are here to offer help if you want it. My point is even if you put hours into a review you as a reviewer need to remember that it is all a learning experience for you because the person you are reviewing may not choose to take any of your advice so, enjoy your reviews and let each one be a new learning experience.
