A Blue S/S Poem That's Fun
The Cobalt Blue Lady and the Man from the Navy

She was married in an Alice Blue Gown.

Everybody wondered why?

He wore a new Klein Blue Blazer,
above his Denim jeans, White turtleneck,
no tie.

It was a casual wedding.

Bridesmaids and Flower Girl were in Persian,
accented with Azurite and a deep Prussian trim.

On the beach before an Azure sky, against
the Cerulean water and White frothed surf;
it was all just what she wanted, ...serene,
with all their many friends gathered around.

The Minister wore an Ultramarine Robe,
his sash, a striking Steel Blue.

There at the Resort,
the servants wore Royal.

The Food could be served to a King.

Nothing like a glass of Bombay Sapphire
with some Ice Blue rocks clinking lyrically;
in cut lead crystal glasses, a given,
these Indigo moments pile up!

Everybody got into the group picture with smiles!
`After -A -While, they might receive a framed copy.

Right then the Milori Music played on!
Absolutely everybody was happy.

The sea's cool breeze, joined
the wine and the song.

All made for a
most Glorious Day!

After the cake, they strolled out back by the lake;
and there she waded in the water.

The hem of her Gown, turned to Cornflower Blue; then
that's when she knew that her handsome, young lover was true!

Later that night, the stars twinkled bright,
as the heavens donned a Midnight hue.

And again and again, he kissed her and then;
at last !!! She turned up her face and smiled.

Her cheeks flushed a slight Periwinkle.

It wasn't true. She was not pregnant! They both just happened to like the irresistible color of BLUE.

"It's a Boy" is a good bet !!!

POWDER BLUE
