More diff. beginnings to my stories

Beginning 45: *Faints* I awoke in the hands of a hungry dridder! His eyes evil & hungry. "Well, looks like I've caught myself a very delicious ...& cute meal," said the Dridder. I was shaking. Suddenly, his hungry tongue darted out & he started licking me like crazy!

         "Please don't eat me! I don't taste good- -"

         "Not true," he interrupted. "You taste delicious."

         "But, I'm skinny! I won't be filling enough!"

         "Well, I'm full at the moment. I'll make you a deal. If you can give me at least one good reason not to eat you (which you already did) & at least one alternative to eating humans, I won't eat you. You have until tomorrow or until I get hungry!" Said the Dridder.

         "Humans are tiny compared to you. You would have to eat at least 300 to 500 humans to fill you up." Suddenly, the Dridder's stomach growled! The Dridder looked at me hungrily. He licked his lips. His mouth opened, showing me his wet, glistening, razor sharp, white teeth. His dark, wet, cave of a mouth was waiting for me. He licked his lips again. I was frozen with fear.

         "Looks like your time is up, human," he said licking his lips YET again. I started whimpering, crying, & shaking. (I had to try my best not to scream.)

         "Please don't eat me! Can't you feed me first? Please? I'm begging you," I cried.

         "*Sighs/groans* Fine," he said in an agitated tone. "If it'll shut you up. Besides, this way, you'll be a bit more filling when I eat you." The Dridder made something for both him & me. I looked at his plate & was surprised that it contained absolutely no humans at all.

         "I th-thought you said you only ate humans."

         "*Sighs* I don't," he admitted. "To tell you the truth, I only eat humans when I find them, when they come here, or if/when I capture them." After we ate, I was feeling very tired. I yawned. But, (of course), I was WAY too scared to sleep. (I was scared that he would eat me in my sleep!) "You look pretty tired. I think I'll take you in my room. You can sleep there." When we got there, he set up a nice, clean, cozy, & warm bed for me on his nightstand (human sized too!). It looked VERY comfortable. (His attitude seemed to have changed slightly.) He actually sounded caring. (I wasn't sure if he was faking it or not) "Don't worry little one, I won't eat you yet. So, you can sleep soundly, because I won't eat you in your sleep. I promise. Besides, I wouldn't ever eat a human while they were asleep," said the Dridder. With in about 5 minutes, I fell asleep. (I was out cold). 'Wow, she must be really tired. I don't blame her though. She had a lot of 'excitement' today.' The Dridder thought to himself. Suddenly, I started to shiver. The Dridder saw this & put another small sheet/blanket over me. Then, he bent down & gently kissed me. He then whispered, "Good night little one." I smiled in my sleep. The Dridder got in his bed, turned off the light, & fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up & the Dridder was smiling. (But it seemed like a slightly different smile. His smile didn't look as evil or sadistic as it had last night). He was in his bed, facing me.

         "You must be hungry. If you're going to eat me, *sighs* just get it over with. I'll go willingly & quietly." I said defeated. "Besides, all I asked for was one last meal. Eat me how ever you want. Make it *shudders* as painful as you want. I'll try not to scream. I--" My eyes started welling up with tears.

         "Actually, I've decided that I'm not going to eat you."

         "Say wha?"

         "You know that food I gave you last night?" I nodded (I also had a confused/quizzical look on my face)(like Kyle from "Kyle XY"). "Well, that food was special. It made you immortal. You can't age, or die." I looked at the Dridder. My eyes widened, & my jaw dropped.

         "Thank you." I said.

         "To celebrate this, I think I will take you to the beach." The Dridder said.

         "What if you get angry & forget that you said you won't eat me, & then you eat me?"

         "That's the thing about being immortal. If you get eaten, after 10 minutes, you will reappear in my hands, safe & sound. Now, let's go before the beach gets too crowded." When we got to the beach, there were giants, monsters, & other dridders there. We found a nice spot & got really comfortable. Soon, my owner fell asleep & an evil monster snuck up & stole me!

         "You look tasty!" He said evilly. Then, he licked his lips. I tried to scream but he popped me in his mouth before I had the chance! He started to rough me up a bit with his teeth. He was also sucking on me like I was a piece of hard candy! Luckily, a giant saw this & came over.

         "Let her go," said the Giant.

         "Ok," said the Monster. Then, he swallowed me! He licked his lips. He loved the way I tasted. I kicked, screamed, squirmed, & struggled all the way down till I hit his stomach. The Giant kicked the Monster (hard) in the stomach! The Monster coughed me up.

         "That will teach you not to steal pets from their owners! Now, get out of here before I REALLY HURT YOU!" The Giant yelled angrily. Then, he bent down & picked me up. The Monster ran away crying. "Let's get you back to your owner," the Giant said. He smiled at me kindly. "Don't worry little one, I know who your owner is. By that I mean I know what he looks like. I saw you get taken from your owner." He began to rub my body gently. My body willingly relaxed. "That's right, little one. Just lie there & I'll make you comfortable till we get to your owner." On the long walk back, the Giant took out a soft, clean, warm, & small cloth & started to gently wipe me off with it. It smelled nice & clean. He wrapped me up in the cloth. When we got to my owner/master, he was freaking out! He couldn't find me! "I believe this little cutie belongs to you."

         "Thank you so much! Oh I thought I lost you forever. How did you find her? Where did you find her?"

         " Actually, I saw an evil monster steal her from you. So, I saved her from him. He ate her, so, I kicked him in the stomach so hard that he coughed her up. Then, I cleaned her off with this cloth so she would feel better."

         "Oh thank you so much!" My owner said.

         "You're very welcome."

         "Would you like to sit with us?"

         "Sure. Just let me go get my stuff."

         "Let's see..." My owner started. Then, the Giant came back with his stuff. The Giant sat down & started talking to my owner. Soon, I fell asleep.

         "Aww." Both the Giant & my owner said. They started talking & soon became friends.

         "Wake up little one," my owner said. I woke up. "Little one, you're not going to believe this, we're actually neighbors! Now if I ever go out of town, I can leave you with him."

         "I would like that a lot master."

         "I would like to hold her, but- -"

         "I'm ok with it. But why don't you ask her?"

         "Little one? May I hold you?" The Giant asked nervously.

         "Of course! You saved me from that evil monster!" The Giant lowered his hand. I walked/climbed on. The Giant started to gently pet me.

         "So, it turns out, I'm immortal too. And here I thought that I was the only giant that knew how to make that kind of food."

         "Same here! Actually, I made her immortal last night. Plus, I captured her last night. But, I must confess that I was planning on eating her, but I couldn't. At first, I was full. So, I told her to give me at least one alternative to eating humans, & at least one reason not to eat her. If they were good enough, I wouldn't eat her. I said she had till the next day or until I got hungry. But, she only gave me two reasons not to eat her. Soon my stomach growled. I was about to eat her, when she begged me to feed her one last meal. I realized that she was too cute, sweet, & adorable to eat. So, I made dinner for the both of us. Then, she got very tired. I took her in my room & made her a bed. She was too scared to sleep. She thought I would eat her while she was sleeping. I don't blame her for thinking that. So, I told her I wouldn't eat her in her sleep. Within five minutes she fell asleep. After she fell asleep, I kissed her good night. When she woke up this morning, I was watching her with a smile. She thought I wanted to eat her. But when I told her otherwise, she was so happy!"

         "I bet. If you ever need anything, I'm right next door. If you need anyone to watch her, I'm your giant. By the way, what is her name?""

         "You know, I didn't ask. Little one, what's your name?"

         "Hannah." Both the Giant & the Dridder looked at each other.

         "Aw. The perfect name for the perfect pet. That name suits you perfectly."

         "By the way master, how did you find me? Where did you find me? I don't remember what I was doing, or where I was."

Beginning 46: I started to wake up. I was pretty groggy this morning. I saw a huge human figure! I wasn't sure what it was. Was it a giant human? Was it a giant? What ever it was it was getting closer. All I heard now was a voice. (My blinds were closed. So all I saw was a huge shadow.) "Hello? Anybody home?"

         Roar! This guy is SO ANNOYING! So I got up, (my eyes were still closed), Opened my window, & shouted, "SHUT UP! IT'S TOO FREAKIN' EARLY! YOU ARE SO ANNOYING!"

         "Wow. I have never heard or seen a human yell at a giant like that." My eyes sprang open! I saw the Giant. Then, I slammed my window shut, jumped into my bed, & covered myself with my sheets & blanket. Suddenly, I heard my roof come off! "*sighs* You're coming with me, little human," said the Giant. He grabbed the blanket, pillow, sheet & me. So, now I was wrapped up in my covers, but in the Giants' hand. He dropped me in something. It was soft. I heard rustling & climbing.

         I thought, "What the HELL have I done? I can't believe this. I'm gonna throw myself at the mercy of this Giant. I'm gonna beg to be spared. I just know he's gonna eat me!" With that horrible thought in my mind, I cried myself to sleep.

         Later, "Wake up little one." I woke up groggy...again.

         "I-I'm sooo sorry M-Mr. Giant s-sir. I was tired. I d-di-did-didn't m-mean to yell at you!" I stammered.

         "I've never seen or heard a human yell at a giant & live to tell the tale." When I heard that, I yelped. "...Until now that is."

         "Wha-wha-what?"

         "It's ok little one. I don't hurt, kill, torture, eat, crush, or cook humans. I've decided to keep you as my immortal pet."

         "How do you intend to make me immortal?"

         "With the food I'm about to give you. It's the same special food I eat."

Beginning 47: I fell asleep in my bed. I was put into a box & sent to a giant. I awoke to the sound of thunderous footsteps! The ground was shaking! It was very dark & tight where I was. I pushed the top, it didn't move! "Scissors, scissors. Where are those scissors?" The voice asked. "Ah ha. Here they are." The Giant got closer. "I've got to be very careful." Thought the Giant. "I don't want to hurt this human. Man, they must be scared to death. I better open the lid slowly. Maybe, I'll turn off the lights, so it won't be too bright for the little one." The Giant was careful. He took the box into his room, & got on the bed. The lid was taken off slowly. I was shaking. I had no clue what I was in for. When the Giant saw me, he was in total awe. He gasped. All I could do, was lie there in total fear, (I was scared stiff) I stayed silent. One reason, I was too scared to talk. Two, I didn't want to anger this giant. "Aw, it's ok little one. Don't be scared." The Giant said in a whisper.

         I thought, "Oh my gosh, is this giant is being nice?! I know he's just faking." As soon as the Giant started to slowly bring his hand down to pick me up, I started shaking, whimpering & then stared to cry. Once I was in his hand, he started to pet me gently.

         "Shh, don't cry little one, it's ok." He cooed. "I promise I won't hurt you. Besides, I wouldn't do that to my beloved pet. But, in order to be my special pet, you'll have to do something for me."

         "Wha-what's th-tha-that m-ma-master?" I stuttered.

         "Eat my special immortality food."

         "Say what?"

         "I can't have you as a beloved pet unless I make you immortal. That way, I can always take care of you, love you, & so on & so forth. You see little one, I'm immortal. I've been so lonely. I have a lot of love to give. Plus, it's one less human that could be captured for an evil giant. If you were one of those, you would either be their food, toy, or slave. But with me, you will be the most pampered human pet ever. Will you please consider being my pet?"

         "Ok. I'll do it. Only because I don't wanna die."

         "Little one, you just made me the happiest giant ever! C-can I kiss you?" I looked at him.

         "Uhh... It'll be gentle right?"

         "Yes. But, first, Let's give you some of that special food." He put some food next to me. "Alright, once you eat this food, you will be immortal."

         "Thanks master! I'm really hungry."

Beginning 48: I took a walk one morning. But, when I got back to my cottage, it was in shambles! I dropped to my knees. I was absolutely devastated. "H-how did this happen?" I said with my voice breaking (due to me trying to hold back crying). I covered my eyes with my hands, & just broke down crying. Tears just streaming down my face. Little did I know, a giant was sneaking up behind me. But, I was too busy crying to notice. Suddenly, I felt a giant hand wrap around me!

         "Gotcha," said the Giant.

         "No! Please! Don't hurt me!" I cried.

         "You need to be quiet."

         "B-but, I-I'm- -"

         "Look little one, if you're not quiet, you'll attract evil giants. I don't want that to happen. I've got to keep you safe so I can give you to my friend for his birthday." Then, I heard thunderous footsteps approaching.

         "Hey what's going on? Oh my gosh, what happened to that cottage? I hope no one got hurt."

         "I don't know. I didn't see any human around or in the wreckage."

         "Thank goodness for that. By the way, who were you telling to be quiet?" I was behind the Giant's back. He held me a bit too tight. Suddenly, I heard 2 snaps! Then, I felt searing pain surge through my right arm, & left leg!

         "I was thinking of the song I have stuck in my head. It's obnoxious. Oh, I still need to get your gift ready. I'll bring it over tonight."

         "Ok. See you later."

         "Ok little one, let's get you back to my place so I can get you set up to give you to--." As he brought me up to his face, he saw my arm & leg & they were in awkward positions. "Oh my gosh! I did not do this. I did not just hurt a human." He whispered worriedly.

         "Wait a minute, you're a gentle giant?"

         "Of course I am. Now I've got to get you to a hospital. I know just the one to take you to."

         "But,"

         "It's a special hospital." He then started to rub my back. I soon fell asleep. When I woke up, I was surrounded by giants. I started whimpering, shaking, crying, etc. I was just freaking out. "Will you guys PLEASE back off?! Can't you see she's scared?!" He started to pet me again. I nuzzled my face in his hand to show appreciation, & my way of saying thank you. "Aw, you're welcome little cutie." Suddenly, a giant doctor came up to us.

         "Why don't you two come with me. I'll take good care of this little cutie." Said the Giant Doctor. I was put in a hospital bed. "Oh my, it looks like left broken leg, & broken right arm. Don't worry, I'll take care of her. She's lucky to have you as her owner."

         "Actually, I was going to give her to my friend as a gift. It's my fault she's hurt. I must've squeezed her too hard. I was holding her behind my back when my friend showed up. I didn't want him to see her. I feel absolutely horrible!"

         "Hey, it's ok. What you did was amazing. I mean bringing her in here that is."

         "Master? I love you." I said. Both giants stared at me with wide eyes.

         "Let's get her into surgery. You can wait in here." The Giant sat down & called his friend. To be continued



Beginning 49:I was out for a walk. But when I got back at my cottage, it was in freakin' shambles! I dropped to my knees & my eyes started to well up with tears. I buried my eyes in my hands, & just started bawling my eyes out. So, I was oblivious to anything (since I was too distracted due to me crying). Suddenly, I felt a giant hand wrap around me! The HUGE fingers curled around my body! "Gotcha," the Giant said. I tried to struggle, squirm, & fight. But it was no use. I was absolutely powerless.

         "P-please Mr. Giant sir, let m-me go." I begged. The Giant stared at me.

         "You need to be quiet. Don't scream. I don't want to attract other giants. By that I mean evil giants." I was so scared. Suddenly, the Giant hid me behind his back! (I thought I heard thunderous footsteps). "Hey," said the Giant.

         "What the heck happened to that cottage?"

         "I don't know." Replied the Giant. I then heard TWO snaps! Then, I felt searing, & blinding pain surge through my left arm & right leg! I was hoping that it was just an accident. I tried my best not to scream.

         "Please tell me no one got hurt. I just wish that it could've been prevented." The Giants' friend said. "What are you hiding behind your back?"

         "I'm not hiding anything, or anyone behind my back." I was still trying my best not to scream or cry. "I'll bring your gift by later, ok?"

         Ok. See you then." The Giant took me out from behind his back. He looked at my body & realized something was wrong. My arm & leg were at awkward positions.

         "Oh no." The Giant said. I looked at him & saw how truly upset, worried, & horrified he was. "I hurt a human. I-I can't believe it. I'm so sorry little one." The Giant had tears in his eyes.

         "Hold on a second, you're a gentle giant?!"

         "Yes. Now, I have got to get you to a hospital. I'm taking you to a special one. It's run by giants. Trust me little one. I know one of the doctors, & he is very good."

         "I'm scared."

         "I know little cutie. It'll be ok." He started to run his giant index finger slowly & gently down my back. My body relaxed & I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was surrounded by giants! I started to freak out. "Shh, it's ok little one. I'll get rid of them," he cooed. "Will you guys PLEASE back off?! I've got half a mind to call security! Can't you see she's scared?" My gentle giant said. The crowd of giants left us alone. I nuzzled my face in the Giants' hand as a way of saying thank you. "Aw, you're welcome sweetie." Suddenly, a giant doctor walked up. So I started shaking. "It's alright little one. I know this doctor. He's very gentle."

         "You two want to come back with me?"

         "Yes." Once we were brought into a room, I was put on the bed.

         "I don't like the look of this. Broken left arm, & broken right leg. I'll fix her up. I'll get her into surgery right now. You can stay here."

         "I--"

         "She's lucky to have you as her owner."

         "I'm not her owner. It's my fault she's injured. I still can't believe I hurt a human. I feel horrible!"

         "It was an accident. I don't want you to cry. I forgive you." I said. "I love you master." I added. The Giant was astonished.

         "Little one, I was gonna give you to my friend for his birthday, but now, I'm not going to." I was taken into surgery. The Giant sat down & called his friend.

         "Hello?"

         "Hey, I need to tell you something. I had a human behind my back. I was going to give her to you for your birthday. But I accidentally broke her arm & leg. I'm at the hospital right now. I can't give her to you."

         "Why?"

         "She just called me master & said she loved me. I want you to come down here. She's so cute."

         "Ok. I'll come down there now. I'm close by anyway." Ten minutes later, his friend walked into the room. "Where is she?"

         "She's still in surgery. She should be out soon. So what do you think? I mean what should I do?" The Giant broke down crying.

         "Hey, it's ok. She's going to live. I understand that you wanna keep the little one." I was brought into the room.

         "She's still asleep. When she wakes up, she'll be a bit loopy. I'll go get some pain medicine to take home." I started to wake up.

         "You're right. She's adorable. I'll make you a deal, as a gift, you let me come see her & let me take care of her when ever you go out of town. But, you must promise me you'll make her immortal. Oh, I suggest you make the doctor immortal too. He deserves it."

         "It's a deal. I was already planning on making her immortal anyway."

Beginning#50: I was walking along when a giant dridder snuck up behind me!



Beginning#51: I woke up in a box! "FINALLY!" A voice said. "My pet's finally here." The voice whispered.

         "I'm in trouble now! I'm inside a box!" I thought.

         Don't worry little one." Thought the Giant. I heard the box begin to open slowly. "Well, I'm impressed! You're cute!
