Poking fun at what people *think* the Bible says
Check Second Hesitations,Chapters three and four;
Just in case you don't believe me, go on and make sure.
But it's right there in plain English; easy enough to read,
That God will help those who help themselves succeed.

He'll have to leave the lame and crippled, the blind and the diseased,
Just in order to make sense of this anti-scriptural philosophy.
But if it's alright with you, well then it's alright with me.
Just don't tell the homeless, the poor and those in need.

And pray that you never fall into a circumstance,
That removes your ability to make it with your hands.
No accident, no illness; no financial disarray.
Because should you become unable surely then you'll lose your way.
