In response to a friend's dilemma that she must write "Free Verse" poetry for an English class, I decided that such offerings are often more "Free Range" than free verse, and so ambiguous as to leave readers unsure of import. To that end, I decided to embrace a free range style of writing peoms where I am free to roam the grounds of possibility, consume whatever I find and regurgitate it in a form most fun to write. To this end, my poem entitled, Ambiguity.
Ambiguity
In words wooly, vague, abstruse
She filled the page
In thoughts to what was, is, or will be
Concealed in haze
Indistinct to cause confusion
Yet distinct enough
To bring antonymical clearness
She writes
Unbound by rules of punctuation
Eliciting squints of consternation
By those expecting
Formulaic composition
She is become
The Ambiguous, Free Range Poet.
