Phoenix girl

A heart is like a phoenix bird

It's burned and rises up again

then a screeching cry is heard

It finds itself in the dust again

and takes a look around

and does what a phoenix must

One day the heart will just explode

From angry cracks and lust

the angry ambers burn it up

Then the cool spring does come

and it sprouts again like a tulip
